Cool Contributions fighting Climate Change or C4 is a global project implemented by GIZ on behalf of the International Climate Initiative of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU-IKI). The project is implemented in six (6) partner countries, Iran, Cuba, Costa Rica, Grenada, Viet Nam and the Philippines supporting partner countries in developing a NDC strategy for the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC) sector.
The project aims to reduce GHG emissions from the refrigeration and air conditioning sector through an international control of fluorinated gases (F-gases) used as refrigerants through natural alternatives that allows improved energy performance of refrigeration and air conditioning appliances and systems.
