Cool Contributions fighting Climate Change

Cool Contributions fighting Climate Change or C4 is a global project implemented by GIZ on the International Climate Initiative of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU-IKI). The project is implemented in six (6) partner countries, Iran, Cuba, Costa Rica, Grenada, Viet Nam and the Philippines supporting partner countries in developing a NDC strategy for the sector.

The project aims to reduce GHG emissions from the refrigeration and air conditioning sector through an international control of fluorinated gases (F-gases) used as refrigerants through natural alternatives that allows improved energy performance of refrigeration and air conditioning appliances and systems.
